The Stripes of the Dove

This photo of a Zebra dove was taken in downtown Honolulu on a gray, drizzly morning, when most birds were huddled in trees to stay out of the rain. For this little dove, the broad palm fronds of this tree provided a perfect shelter from the cold and the wet.
